The world was STUNNED when Warner Brothers green lit the full, four hour, Snydercut Justice League film. And it was a hit!

Since then (and before), there has been a concentrated push for the sequels to be made. With James Gunn as the new head of DC, this looks incredibly unlikely. Even Zack Snyder has said DC has shot down the prospects of a comic book.
