If your furry friend suffers from a disease or accident that renders them unable to properly walk, as their owner and friend you want to do everything in your power to give them a normal life. Dog wheelchairs are a great invention, giving dogs not only longer lives but better quality life. That being said those set of wheels for your furry friend can cost hundreds of dollars. We took the Work n Dirt way and built our own. This video was created to help inspire others to build their own dog wheelchair. The best part about building a wheelchair for you furry family member is bonding with the ones that help you, good luck.
The materials use for this project:
¾” PVC
Duct tape
2” x ¼” Carriage bolts with nuts and lock washers
Fleece fabric
Optional PVC glue
Harbor Freight hand truck
