Going out in a wheelchair can be a challenge—sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally. In this video, I share a personal journal entry from a night out on St. Patrick’s Day, where I found myself navigating a packed pub, dealing with awkward moments, and realising how much I still hold myself back in social situations. Even after six years, I still get those looks, and I still sometimes feel like I’m in the way. But I’m also learning that practice, communication, and stepping out of my comfort zone can make all the difference.
