In this video, I change the Transmission Fluid & Filter on my 2014 Mustang 3.7L V6. Process is fairly straightforward and requires a siphon pump, 6-7 Qts of Motorcraft Mercon LV, and new filter.
This job also requires a 19mm socket for the drain/fill plug and 8mm socket for the transmission pan bolts.
I ended up draining a little over 6 qts of fluid and did my best to measure how much I took out, so I would know the right amount to put back in.
Bought the siphon pump from Lowe’s for around $15 and got the fluid and filter on amazon for around $80. Shop quoted $250 to do this same job, so hopefully this video is helpful and helps you save some money.
