Welcome back to the Channel! Today we take a trip to Santa Ana River Lakes! We do an overnight trip at the lake. The gates open at 5pm and you can fish all night to the next afternoon 4pm. We fish all night for trout into the afternoon and was successful! Santa Ana River Lakes (SARL) is known for their giant trout's. They are also heavily stocked every Thursday.
Was a fun time at the lake. We caught 3 decent size trout's all on micetails bait and wait. Mini Jigs, and spoons were not successful on our side of the lake unfortunately. Saw one guy bring up I think was a baby bass on a spoon, but other than that didn't see anyone else be successful with and jigs.
