With a deep passion for film and story, Matt Dy’s entire professional career has solely been dedicated to working with screenwriters. For over a decade, he worked at Austin Film Festival as the Director of Script Competitions where he facilitated the evaluation of thousands of annual script submissions and helped shepherd the careers of countless writers. In 2019, he went on to join Adam Kolbrenner’s Lit Entertainment Group as a literary manager and producer working closely with an exciting mix of established and up-and-coming writers for film and television. His love for story has now led him to pursue screenwriting while also still continuing to work with writers as a script consultant. Matt attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV/Film with a focus on screenwriting and producing.
