片瀬東浜海水浴場は湾になっており遠浅で波が穏やかな日本の海水浴場の中でも歴史が古く、「日本の海水浴場55選」にも選ばれている眺望も魅力的な浜です。都心からも駅からも近い、身近な浜・海として人気の浜となっております。2017年からは、日本財団や NPO 法人海さくらの力を借り、海と日本プロジェクトの一貫として、「子供達が裸足で走り回れる日本で一番安心・安全な浜」を本格的に目指し、片瀬東浜組合をはじめ、各海の家、ライフセーバーや多くの方達と力を合わせて（東浜魂プロジェクト）、皆様をお待ちしております。
