Busy morning! First Addie’s Omnipod expired at 6am and Dexcom expired at 8am, so we checked her blood sugar and took her devices off so we could take a device free shower!!
After the shower, we put a new omnipod and dexcom on! Addie was so cute and tried to help when I was getting frustrated with the insulin bubbles! I am so proud of her for handling these device changes so well!
I think we will start doing more positive affirmations. We’ve also been talking about our emotions and Addie likes to ask if I’m happy or sad all day long.
Did you catch her calling out my depression at the end?? Lol!
Anyway, I put an expression med tape on her omnipod and a skin grip on her dexcom! The new kid size skin grips are amazing and fit her so well!
