How to Punish the Scandinavian Defense! | Portugese Gambit, Mainlines, Tiviakov's 3...Qd6!?

Hey everyone!
In this video we're talking about the Scandinavian Defense and how white can gain an advantage against it. I do believe that this is the most comprehensive and challenging repertoire on YouTube against the Scandinavian according to modern computers... maybe some tweaks in the mainline can be suggested but overall it's a very challenging and computer-approved repertoire.

The Scandinavian has been the choice of the top elite once in a while, all the way from Carlsen, Firouzja, Nakamura, and has been one of the main weapons of GM Sergei Tiviakov across his career! One of the internet's most beloved chess teachers, IM John Bartholomew, is also a big exponent of this opening.

It has a more or less solid reputation, but it can face some difficulties in the modern lines. I don't recommend trying to memorize everything move by move, but just to absorb the thematic ideas according to black's setup.
