ResMed Airsense S9 CPAP – Replace Motor and Deep Clean

My CPAP is apparently 10 years old. I got the “motor is expired” message. And I was a little concerned about how dirty it might be inside.
I could get a new machine, but this one runs well and I’m happy with it.
So, I decided to buy a new motor and do a deep clean.
It took me about an hour to swap and clean… and most of the time was cleaning.
The hour meter on my CPAP has the run hours at 25,644 hours. Assuming 7 hrs/day, that is almost exactly 10 years.
