Soundscape - Mudgee, NSW Australia | Weir | River | Birds | Nature & Urban Ambience

Hello and welcome :)

Recorded this one in Mudgee NSW, down in the park by the weir where you can hear the river water rushing over with all the birds bringing the park to life. It's a town so there's traffic in the background, but it was still a peaceful recording despite that. Nice little spot to stop and listen.

I ventured into field recording when a desire to incorporate nature soundscapes into my music pulled me toward my first handheld recorder in 2019.

What began as a side hobby soon took front and centre. I fell completely in love with the experience of sitting in a moment, listening and observing the world around me in a completely new way.

After a while I realised how much I wanted to share these moments with others, so I started pulling out my iPhone camera.
