1st time beaching our Sailing Catamaran | Percy Island | S1 E19 | Sailing Pacific Star | Beached As

We are so excited to share our experience with beaching our catamaran for the first time, in Percy Island lagoon. It was long over due to dry out the hulls on our boat. With 7 weeks growth from staying on the Cairns piling moorings, it was good to give her a clean.

Percy Island is such an epic spot to visit, with the famous Percy Island Yacht Club a Frame Hut, to cooking up a feed of freshly caught mud crabs from the lagoon on Australia Day. We loved our week stay at this epic island.

We caught massive mud crabs and cooked them in a few different ways.
Plus, we were invited to a fellow yachties catamaran for wood fire pizzas. Yes you heard me correctly “Wood Fire Pizzas on a Catamaran!” And they tasted AMAZING!
