Somehow August is already here.
It arrived so quietly — no announcement, no warning.
One morning I just woke up, and there it was.
This month is full of warmth, but there’s also something a little wistful about it.
And I don’t want to miss a single moment of it. 🌾

In this video, I’m taking you on a little journey —
no suitcases, no airports,
just small, quiet adventures filled with scents, light, and memory.

We start in an old apple orchard 🍎
with a patch of wildflowers blooming their final bloom.
Their scent feels like a soft goodbye from summer.
I’m here with my dog, Harbuzyk 🐶 —
he sends a warm thank you for all the sweet comments on our last video.

There’s something magical about summer and dresses.
I pull out linen ones I haven’t worn yet this year —
and I’m reminded how simply feminine it feels to wear something that flows in the breeze.
A straw hat 👒, a twirl, and it’s like I’m a girl again.

Then we escape the city for a picnic —
just me and my husband,
a simple pie topped with cream and berries 🍓
(and yes, the ducks tried to steal it — but I kept that part just for us 🦆).
I share a little thought on relationships too —
how important it is to keep dating each other,
to continue building little traditions that hold you together.

And of course, summer means fruit and jars —
gathering yellow plums, bubbling pots in the kitchen,
and making my grandmother’s old recipe for golden plum sauce. 🍑
Sweet and tangy, perfect for both desserts and roasted meats —
and full of childhood memories.

We end with a bike ride 🚲
to a quiet spot my husband made special — with a bench for the two of us.
We sip herbal tea,
pick thyme and chamomile along the way,
and watch birds through binoculars 🕊️

This video is my way of holding on to August,
of keeping the warmth close just a little longer.
