Branston Pickle - How to make it at home.

Have you ever wondered what was in Branston pickle? In this video I am going to show you how to knock up your very own tasty Branston Pickle. Its quite easy and a great way to use up that fresh veg. #branstonpickle #howtomakebranstonpickle #makingpickle

Ingredients:
285g / 10oz of Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons of Molasses/Black Treacle
1 teaspoon of Salt
1 lemon
375ml / 1.5 cups of Vinegar
3 Tomatoes
2 teaspoons of Mustard Seeds
2 teaspoons of Ground Allspice
1 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper
1 Medium Swede/Rutabaga - Diced
4 Cloves of Garlic- Finely Chopped
85g / 3oz of Dates - cut into small pieces
1/4 of a Cauliflower - cut into small pieces
1 Onion - Diced
1 Granny Smith Apple - Diced
1 Courguette/Zucchini - Diced
1 large or 2 small Carrots - Diced

Extra liquid and seasoning if Required
1/2 a cup/120ml of Malt Vinegar
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons of Cornflour / Cornstarch
1/4 cup/60ml of Water
