A man made solar eclipse? (Proba-3 mission)

ESA’s Proba-3 mission plans to create a man-made solar eclipse to study solar weather. The goal is to explore the Sun’s corona and uncover its secrets, using two satellites called Coronagraph and Occulter. They will be launched using ISRO’s PSLV rockets and will work together to create the eclipse. The Occulter will be placed to block the solar disc, allowing only the corona’s faint light to be seen. At the same time, the Coronagraph will record detailed images of this hard-to-see area. This research is important for predicting solar storms that can interfere with technology on Earth.
