Tchaikovsky 'Valse' from Orchestral Suite No. 2 - Alexander Dmitriev conducts

Tchaikovsky wrote four delightful Suites for Orchestra which for some reason seem to be little played these days, either in the concert hall or on the radiio. This is a pity, as they all contain some lovely music, the 4th Suite being arrangements of assorted Mozart pieces. The Suite No. 2 in C major contains five movements of which the second is the 'Valse' heard here. It is played by the Leningrad Philharmonic, Alexander Dmitriev conducting, on a Melodya CD.
