We spent a few peaceful days camping beside Big Piney Creek, one of Arkansas’s National Wild and Scenic Rivers.
Our campsite sat right on the water at Long Pool Recreation Area, surrounded by forest and the sound of the river.
Kellie’s brother met up with us for the weekend — we fished, relaxed by the creek, and watched the light change across the bluffs. For dinner, Kellie cooked chicken Caesar wraps over the campfire — simple food that always tastes better outside.
This is what life feels like beside one of the most beautiful rivers in Arkansas.
