Sunset Suction Machine

Sunset Healthcare Solutions presents our standard and portable suction machines. Both machines are carefully designed for durability, effective and quiet removal of respiratory fluids and variable vacuum control.

In this video, we'll cover the basic steps for use.

Each unit includes an AC adapter and a power indicator, which turns green when the machine is in use. The portable suction machine includes a battery and battery indicator. When the battery indicator is red, the battery is charging. When the battery indicator turns green, the battery is fully charged. The battery will fully charge within eight hours.

Please unplug the machine when not suctioning or charging its battery.

Each machine has a required duty cycle of 30 minutes. Turn off the machine for at least 30 minutes following every 30 minutes of use, to avoid overheating.

To set up the machine for first use, begin by placing the canister in the suction machine. Open the accessories bags and take out the two connector tubes and the filter. Connect one end of the long connector tubing to the canister and the other to the filter. Connect one end of the short connector tubing to the air input port and the other to the free end of the filter. Then, connect the six foot suction tubing to the suction canister.

Before each use, inspect the tubing and canister for leaks or cracks.

If the machine suction becomes weak, or the filter appears to be dirty, you’ll just need to replace the BF018 foam air filter. To do this, turn the machine upside down and open the small circular hatch on the bottom of the unit by turning counter-clockwise. Remove the filter and replace with a new one. Close the filter cover.
