Star Wars Celebration II DIORAMA Builders workshop LOST FOOTAGE - FLY ON THE WALL EDIT

Today, may 25 2016, I am thrilled to present to you, video footage of the convention that started it all for me and my Star Wars family.

The date was 2002, Indianapolis USA, the task: Build Mos Eisley Spaceport Diorama in 3 days !!!

After several years making online Star Wars diorama tutorials on my website, I (Frank Diorio) was asked by Lucasfilm to organize the very FIRST Star Wars Celebration Diorama Workshop… and I haven't looked back since.

My team and I have designed every USA Diorama Builders Celebration convention booth ever since. Staff have become great friends and friends turned into family. That is the genius of Star Wars conventions and meeting fellow fans who share the same passion for Star Wars. A connection hard to explain to outsiders.

Long thought to be lost forever (at the time, the recording was done on mini DV tapes, higher then VHS and Beta, but the some sound and picture focusing show the limits of what was available back then compared to today's go-pro's and HD digi cams.

Still it is a thrill to be able to present to you today THE LOST FOOTAGE - Fly on the wall edit. No sound effects, no music, just direct video of what it was like to be there in the ballroom with us at the Indianapolis convention center. From leaving Montreal, behind scenes set up, fan construction, final assembly to group photo. If you were there, you may recognize yourself, leave a comment or send me a email. it's been a while :)
