A video showing the process of stripping down a bmw 6 speed automatic transmission. ZF 6HP model, with it being the specific model of 6hp-28x, the X denoting 4WD, and as visible in the video, the transfer case has been removed prior. Also the torque converter is already out and isn't shown being removed here. This unit was stripped down to replace the bushings / bearings that the shafts and clutch drums spin on. This is due to them wearing and causing a pressure loss past the worn bearings. I also replaced all the clutch friction plates whilst the gearbox was apart, and split the valve body mechatronics apart and replaced the metal gasket plate that can also cause pressure loss issues.
