【4K】Japan's largest red light district Take a walk in Yoshiwara. | 日本最大のソープ街 吉原を散歩 (Jan. 2022)

We walked around Yoshiwara, which is now the largest red light district in Japan from the Edo period Yukaku.
Actually, "Yoshiwara" is a common name without a place name, the address is "Senzoku, Taito-ku, Tokyo" and the nearest station is Minowa Station.
Brothels are scattered on Nakanocho-dori in the center and Edomachi-dori, Sumicho-dori, and Ageya-dori that extend from there to the left and right.
We walked in the morning on weekdays, but the minivan that is picking up and dropping off customers is running all the time, and the shop seems to be busy.

江戸時代の遊郭から現在では日本最大のソープ街となっている吉原を歩いてみました。
実は「吉原」というは地名はなく通称で、住所でいうと「東京都台東区千束」となり最寄り駅は三ノ輪駅です。
中央の仲之町通りとそこから左右に伸びる江戸町通りや角町通り、揚屋通りにソープランドが点在しています。
平日の午前中に歩きましたが、最寄り駅から店舗までお客を送迎している黒や白のワンボックス車がひっきりなしに走っていて賑わっているようです。
