Weatherproof Sprinter Side Panels with Sealant

Every Sprinter Van owner has heard about the side panels as a source of leaking, especially over time - right?! Or maybe your van side panels are already leaking? Whatever brought you here this was our solution. Cheap, easy, looks clean and has held up!
We saw weatherproof trim options to buy to seal the seam in the side panels to stop water from entering. Due to our paint, we decided sealant might work better and look better. We waited into the winter months to see how this holds up in real life (we saw it did for others but we never want to show something that didn't work for us). At the end of the video, we show the sealant months after we did the work.
Materials we used:
DAP brand Polyurethane metal sealant
Rubber gloves
Popsicle stick
