My AU Explanation:
Benjamin and Misfortune do not like each other romantically any more. it was more as a childhood crush that Misfortune outgrew. that doesn't mean they aren't friends though!
Misfortune in my au is eight like canon. However, Benjamin in my au is 13-14. so that's why i made their relationship platonic. I also don't like shipping a animal with a human kid. a dead specifcally.
Benjamin has selective mustism. meaning in certain situations, he doesn't talk. despite having full ability to do so. the only one who knows this is Misfortune however.
one year has passed since the game.
when Benjamin DOES talk, he has a british accent.
