THE QUIRKIEST SUPERCAR! My First Spyker C8 Laviolette Drive

The Spyker C8 Laviolette is the quirkiest supercar I've driven! With an attention to detail that's only really known from Pagani, the Dutch cars are loaded with unusual details, beautiful finishes, and unique touches. Join me with Barry at Ikonick to take a first drive!

The Spyker C8s (both Laviolette and Spyder) are powered by an Audi 4.2l NA V8, making 400hp and 480Nm, putting the power to the rear wheels through a glorious 6 speed manual gearbox with exposed linkage in the cabin. While physically being very small cars, combined with a race orientated suspension setup, the connection and feel for the driver is incredible to experience.

Visually, the design inherits numerous elements from aviation, from the turbine wheels to the propeller logo, combined with the use of quality materials throughout. The interior is luxurious and beautifully crafted in a way that's more familiar from Pagani models like the Zonda and Huayra.

Barry Skolnick recently bought the two Spyker models to add to Ikonick The Collection, along with the carbon fibre bicycle and owner's watch, but I certainly wasn't expecting them to be as entertaining to drive as they are!
