5 Simple Post Earring Designs: A Silversmithing Tutorial

This tutorial shows how to make 5 different interesting post type earrings. There are tons of variations possibilities with these, so have fun experimenting! I would categorize these as beginning level to intermediate. I don't know what the stones are that I used in the last pair, so if you know, leave me a comment:). They are 4 mm faceted stones. The materials for these can vary, but for these ones, I used 16 gauge sterling round wire, 20 gauge sterling round wire, a 3 mm thick ingot of silver, 22 gauge sterling sheet, 18 gauge sterling round wire, scrap silver for balls, and some 3/16 inch fine silver bezel strop in 26 gauge. As always, I use hard silver sheet solder and My-T-Flux from Rio Grande.
