Air : The nearest airport is Jolly Grant (Dehradun), at a distance of 174 km.

Rail : The railhead is kotdwar, 127km.

Road : A motorable road connects with Khirsu with Pauri, the nearest town. Pauri is well connected through roads with Dehradun, Rishikesh and Kotdwar. But a trek from Pauri, down the Kanodiya hills offers the most exciting alternative route to Khirsu.

You will pass through an unknown world amidst numerous aplle trees, bunches of Mushrooms grown in the dark underneath, refresh your mimd with the fragrances of nameless wild flowers and exotic herbs, listen to the songs of the nature, accompanied by chirping birds.

Srinagar: Located on way to N.H. 58 on the bank of Alaknanda River eas once the capital of Garhwal Kings. Epicentre of Garhwal University, it si the biggest township in the area.

Deval Garh: One of the important Garh capitals of Garhwal. it is situated 16 km away from khirsu towards Srinagar. Raj Rajeshwari and Gauri Devi Temples are the important attractions here.

Ulkha Garhi Temple: 3 km from Khirsu (Chaubattakhal) is known for small Ulkeshwari temple and ruins of Garh-capital.

Pauri: Disrict Headquarter of Pauri Garhwal and Commissioner's Headquarter of Garhwal Region is situated here. Pauri is 20 km from Khirsu and 32 k from Srinagar. it is also an attractive hill station. A tourist Bunglow and number of Private Hotels are available here fr stay. it is anothe big township in the area.
