Tshinakaho Makhadi - The Legacy. This documentary tells a story characterised by the resilience of a woman whose future was to be determined by the circumstances of her environment. A story told by herself tracking her origin and history.
In 1932 Tshinakaho was born in a world that offered little to black women at the time, but demanded much. She walked no classroom corridors, yet life itself became her school, its lessons written in calloused hands, in cattle paths and ploughed mielie fields, in dawns that rose with duty and dusks that closed with endurance.
The story honours a life measured not by certificates or wealth, but by character, truth, hard work, and the many lives lifted by her love. Her legacy lives on in unity, in self-respect, and in generations who walk forward because she stood firm.
