Are you feeling weak as chips in the gym?
No matter what you do you can’t build your strength.
Meaning you’ve made no progress in months or even years.
Here’s how you’re going to fix it.
1. Stop doing 3 sets of 10 reps on every exercise.
To build your strength, lower reps and higher reps are going to be your sweet spot.
A lot of people say 5x5 is best. For me, it makes the workout slightly too long.
I prefer 4x6.
You want to aim for 2-3 exercises on that rep range.
2. Increase your training frequency.
Not necessarily the amount you train in a week but the amount you do exercises you want to improve your strength.
An area I’m lacking is my legs.
I’ll train belted squats one day in a 4x6 rep range and another day in a 4x10 rep range.
That increases overall volume and also gets my body used to performing the exercise with more weight.
3. Double scoop of cre
I’ve only started using creatine this year and now I’m double scooping.
Simply because of my size.
Since I’ve been doing that, my performance has been unholy.
