Whilst home for Christmas with our kids, we come across some photos of our previous travels with our children.
In this video we leave Melbourne with our 100 series Toyota and Jayco on-road pop top caravan, heading north to Cape York.
We travel the Kidman way up through NSW to Barcaldine, Longreach, Mount Isa before hitting the dirt roads heading into Lawn Hill national park. From there we make our way north up through station tracks to the Savannah way where we turn right and finish up in Cairns. We leave the caravan at a friends place in Yungaburra and head north again with the tent. Couldn't pass the Lions Den hotel so we stay out the back and have a few frothies for the arvo. Continuing north we take a side trip out to Chilli beach and tackle the Iconic Frenchmans track back to the main road. We finish this episode at Bramwell station, the start of the Old Telegraph Track. Stay tuned for that next week.
