Kolkata Doctor Case: Left-affiliated groups and the BJP have accused Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital of attempting to tamper with evidence related to the rape and murder of a junior doctor on campus. The accusations arose after renovation work began near the crime scene, prompting protests from CPI(M)-affiliated DYFI and SFI. A doctor from the Joint Forum of Doctors further claimed that postmortem findings suggest the victim may have been gangraped.
