What happens when you take an old direct to video animated movie about a blue hedgehog, some Jamiroquai samples and mash it into a 90's house track? You get 'Supersonic'!
This remix samples the 1996 OVA Animated film 'Sonic The Hedgehog' and several other games in the beloved SEGA franchise. I went all out in this 90's inspired track with spicy jazz chords, acid synth bass textures and even samples from the original Sonic games! The track is based around a sample taken from a Jamiroquai track of the same name which I thought was funny given that Sonic and Jamiroquai are products of the 90's; at least to me!
Composed using samples from the movie and samples from Sonic Heroes, Sonic R, Sonic Adventure 2 and Restless Soul's remix of Jamiroquai's track 'Supersonic'
