Harry Caray called his last White Sox game on TV in the penultimate game of the 1981 season (he called the season finale on radio). Caray, who joined the Sox in 1971, would move across town to the Cubs, whose games he called through the 1997 season. He died Feb. 18, 1998. Before coming to Chicago, Caray called Cardinals games for 25 years (1945-69) and A's games for one.
