Ted Lasso is THE reason that so many people have subscribed to Apple TV, and we can’t blame them. It’s one of the best shows to come out in years, mixing sports and comedy with a classic fish out of water story. And it has ALL the feels. In this video, we are taking a look at some behind the scenes info from this incredible show that chronicles the ups and downs of AFC Richmond, led by the gentleman from the United States, Coach Ted Lasso. And the man playing Ted, Jason Sudeikis, has managed to create a timeless character that resonates with so many people. Along with his buddy Brendan Hunt, who plays intrepid and acerbic Coach Beard, the two found a sweet spot of funny, passionate, and heartwarming. We’re taking a look at some interesting tidbits about the casting process, which saw not one but two current cast members actually audition for a different part.
