Pasiparupu Urundai / Moong Dal Laddu is a simple and delicious traditional sweet made with roasted moong dal, sugar (or jaggery), ghee, cashews and dry grapes.
This laddu is healthy, protein-rich, and perfect for festivals, prasadam, or evening snacks.
⭐ Ingredients:
• Moong dal – 1 cup
• Sugar – ¾ cup (or jaggery powder – 1 cup)
• Ghee – ¼ to ½ cup
• Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
• Cashews – 8 to 10
• Dry grapes/raisins – 2 tbsp
⭐ Method:
1. Roast the moong dal on low flame until golden and aromatic.
2. Cool completely and grind into a fine powder.
3. Powder the sugar with cardamom.
4. Roast cashews and raisins in ghee.
5. Mix dal powder, sugar, cashews, raisins.
6. Add warm ghee little by little and make laddus.
7. Shape into balls and enjoy!
