𝗤𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗯 was a renowned Pakistani poet known for his classical Urdu ghazals. Born in 1887 in Jalali, near Aligarh, India, as Muhammad Hussain, he later moved to Karachi, Pakistan after the country's creation in 1947. Qamar Jalalvi started composing poetry at the tender age of eight and gained popularity by his 20s.
