DIY: Leather Hat Patches

In this video I made hats with custom leather patches for my son and I. I have worn my hat everyday since making it. The leather has roughed it out in the hot sun and cold winter days and still looks great and is staying together.

I got my leather from a local leather craftsmen. I tried leather from craft stores before and it smelled awful and the smell stayed with the patch. The real leather I got from him smelled like hotdogs when on the laser and goes away shortly after.
