The reverse wave is in Silver in the ISTD syllabus, Bronze in the IDTA. Note that the lady is dancing the man's footwork as in the three step with the rise felt at the end of step 5. In the technique step 4 for the man is not described as "up no foot rise" as he must be careful not to imply too early a rise for his partner. She must take step 5 as a heel and then rise at the end of the step. In teaching, however, it can be helpful for the man to think of it that way as a preparation. (similar to the way we might deal with the early rise message given the lady as she enters her heel turns....the man must have his preparation commencing earlier than when it shows up and is written down)
