It is time to start all the plumbing required to connect our log boiler system together and finally get some much needed warmth into our 200 year old stone barn, something it will have never known.
With just a hand drawn schematic diagram to go by, I set about working out what components I need. Lengths of pipe, copper fittings, pumps, flow switches, automatic bypass valves and other things I've never used before and in some cases never even heard of.
All in the hope that one day very soon we will walk into a warm barn and carry on the rest of the renovation in comfort.
