A musical retelling by string quartet of C.S. Lewis's third and final novel in the Space Trilogy.
Movement two is a character sketch of Mr. Bultitude, the Director's pet brown bear. The movement follows a rough ABA scherzo with the B section showing the Director's (Erwin Ransom) transfigured form after his adventures on Perelandra. Angels have descended upon the Director's abode at St. Anne's and have established a beachhead to oppose NICE's demonic agenda.
