The watch is secured on the wrist using a black calfskin leather strap with Alcantara on the inside. The strap fastens with a pin buckle.

The Sinn 556 Collection features distinctive designs of the elegant sports watch.
The collection gets its sporty look from the diamond cut rhodium-plated hands and the accentuation of the hour, minutes and seconds.
All of the watches in the collection have cases and lugs made of satinized stainless-steel. This feature contributes to the sporty aesthetic of the collection.
Each watch features scratch-resistant sapphire glass to protect the dial with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Sapphire glass is also used to create the transparent back of the watches and this is anti-reflection treated on the interior. The transparent back allows the wearer to observe and enjoy the mechanical movement inside.
The SINN 556 watches are all waterproof and pressure-resistant to 20 bar. They are also low pressure resistant. The screw-fastened case back and crown are designed to ensure this water-resistance. All of the watches meet the technical requirements for waterproofness, as set out in standard DIN 8310.
The watches all feature a sparse dial design for optimal readability. The functions include hours, minutes and seconds and date display.
Every SINN 556 watch is powered by an automatic, self-winding movement of the calibre SW 200-1. This movement uses 26 bearing jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the timepiece. It also has a seconds stop function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309.
