Tonight I’m sharing our nighttime routine with my 9-month-old, but once we were settled in bed, I felt ready to talk about something much deeper — my birth experience and our time in the NICU.
What started as a normal night turned into me opening up about a season that changed me forever. The NICU isn’t something you ever prepare for, and it impacts you long after you leave the hospital. I wanted to share our story honestly — for any parent who’s been there, or anyone who wants to understand what life is really like during and after the NICU.
