Video 1: On August 8, 2025, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper was en route to a traffic crash when she observed a dark green Genesis G70 driving recklessly southbound on the Florida Turnpike near the Golden Glades Interchange. The vehicle was seen changing lanes at high speed and using the left shoulder to bypass traffic. When the trooper attempted a traffic stop, the suspect accelerated back onto the ramp, ignored emergency lights and sirens, and fled at increasing speeds, initiating a pursuit.
Video 2: On August 7, 2025, around 2:30 a.m., a Florida Highway Patrol trooper merging onto the Dolphin Expressway from Northwest 42nd Avenue was passed by a speeding BMW. The trooper began to follow the BMW as it exceeded 125 mph in a 55 mph zone. As the trooper got behind the BMW, he activated his emergency lights and siren to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver immediately turned off the headlights, began changing lanes, and accelerated, willfully refusing to stop.
