Background:
Popular Brazilian culture. Yemanjá, also known as Iemanjá or Janaína in Brazilian culture, is a powerful and revered ocean goddess in the Afro-Brazilian religious traditions. The Goddess is celebrated in Brazil and on several occasions, with the most significant being on February 2nd and encompasses the essence of motherhood, fertility, and the sea.

Her image and stories have become symbols of Brazilian identity, blending African roots with South American culture.

In this sixth 2025 Iemanjá mixtape, inspired by Yemanjá’s representation and strength, BATUKIZER celebrates the symbol of cultural continuity and spiritual depth for the Brazilian community and beyond, through music selection, location setup, objects and artefacts, as well as an embodiment of the rich tapestry of traditions and beliefs that have been passed down through generations. All that through a DJ performance, where Carla sets the vibe acting on the first part and Rasmus finalizes that delightful musical journey on the second part.

Ela é reverenciada nas tradições religiosas afro-brasileiras e celebrada em diversas ocasiões, sendo a mais significativa no dia 2 de fevereiro. Sua imagem e histórias tornaram-se símbolos da identidade brasileira, mesclando raízes africanas com a cultura sul-americana.

Nesta mixtape de 2025 é a 6a do Batukizer DJs, a seleção é inspirada na representação e força de Yemanjá, BATUKIZER celebra o símbolo da continuidade cultural e profundidade espiritual para a comunidade brasileira. Tudo isso numa performance de de DJs, onde Carla abre os trabalhos na primeira parte e Rasmus finaliza essa maravilhosa jornada musical na segunda parte.
