Nearly a dozen people were reported injured in a massive 100-plus vehicle pile-up on the west side of the state on Monday, Jan. 19.
The cascade of crashes and slide-offs began shortly after 10:15 a.m. on I-196 in Ottawa County's Zeeland Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, which indicated none of the injuries were fatal. Social media accounts reported near-whiteout conditions at the time of the massive crash.
