"What is Hyperbole?": A Literary Guide for English Students and Teachers

What does hyperbole mean? What are some examples of hyperbole? Professor Elena Passarello answers these questions using examples from everyday life and the famous balcony scene from William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet.
