This is the second of several videos I have made that cover the broad and fascinating topic of minimalism in nature photography. Minimalistic compositions are not easy to capture well in the field of nature; however, with some good editing, negative space can be created to improve upon those simplistic nature scenes. In this video, I take a recent photograph of white pelicans swimming in the water and demonstrate step by step in Photoshop how I improved this simplistic image by creating dark negative space to give it a minimalistic appearance.
