How to play Theme From an Imaginary Western Guitar Solo (Leslie West)
Great solo from a relatively unknown player - Leslie West of Mountain. Many people only know Mountain through the song "Mississippi Queen", but this is another gem. It's somewhat reminiscent of Procol Harem's "Lighter Shade of Pale", but with an awesome guitar solo!!
Leslie West was (is!) a player who really imparts a great deal of emotion into his playing. Lots of bends ... he really milks the most out of every note in the way that David Gilmour or Carlos Santana do too. He should be better known!
