Winter Hammock Camping in the Mountains | Snow, Sunset & 3-Bean Chili Night

Where are we at and what are we doing? Well, we’re deep in the mountains for a winter hammock camping overnight — snow on the ground, sunset over the ridge, and a cup of hot coffee waiting in the morning.

I found this hidden ridge spot while scouting before Sunday Night Live, and couldn’t resist getting out while snow still covered the forest floor. Tonight I’m running the hammock with under-quilt setup, game cam on watch, and dinner is a Farm to Summit Three-Bean Chili with Cornbread — one of the best camp meals I’ve tried yet!
