This video is to help replace the worn oxygen sensor on the Ford KA. I managed to find an Oxygen/ Lambda sensor (NGK) for the Ford KA (2003 onwards) from a trustworthy local auto factor parts supplier for about £60.00. The engine ran perfectly but the orange engine management warning light on the dash stayed on constantly when the engine was running.
The ODB2 diagnostic tool used with the App in the video helped diagnose and reset /clear the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) error code P0030. If the error was left unfixed it could impair the performance of the engine, fuel economy and perhaps damage in time the catalytic converter, also the car wouldn’t pass the MOT. I hope this video helps in fixing the fault but also avoid the possible high cost of the Ford part and garage charges.
