Breath of Fire II "Owaranai Ai" Official Single (1994, English Subtitles) - NintendoComplete

Owaranai Ai (or Endless Love, as it translates to English), a single produced by Capcom and Alfa Records and performed by Mio Watanabe, was released in December 1994 and was featured prominently on Japanese TV commercials for the SNES game Breath of Fire II.

If any western-worlders know this song, I'm guessing that you most likely heard it on a copy of the game patched with the awesome d4s retranslation. It features the first minute or so of the song as streaming audio at 22khz on the SNES cart, and it works on a real console!

Anyways, I always thought it was a cool song despite how depressing the lyrics are. I've totally translated and subbed the lyrics in English, alongside sets of standard Japanese and romanized lyrics for anyone that wants to do a sing along.

The video I've put together for this took a fair while, between finding the right moments to use from each of the games, getting the video cuts to match the music appropriately, etc. It was a much larger time investment than I'd originally anticipated, but I think it came out well. Hopefully you guys agree - lemme know! I love this series!
